Sunday School is the one place we look up to for the future of any Church. It remains functionally defined as reaching people so you can teach them, win them to Christ, and then care for them spiritually. Today children are tomorrow’s Youth and over morrow’s Leaders.

Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life. Proverbs 22:6

The year 2023 is being celebrated as Children’s Year at St James CSI Malayalam church.

Our youngest ministry of the church consists of 50 students and 16 teachers.

The Academic year is planned from Jan-dec with 2 months of holidays in between in conjunction with school holidays. Annual day is planned towards the beginning of the next academic year. World Sunday School Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of November.

Every Sunday, Sunday School is held after the church service from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM.  Common session is conducted where in new songs, stories are learnt in the most innovative ways. Its followed by classes. Currently we have around 11 classes from Beginner to Senior kids, following the Splash curriculum from CEEFI. Special days’ are planned with various activities like games, competitions, arts & crafts.

Every 3rd Sunday, Sunday School lead in Bible reading and offerings during the worship. Various competitions are planned during the year. We participate in external competitions conducted at other churches. We also plan for retreat, training and outreach programs for the group. Various Sales are organized during the year to raise finances.
